INNER FEELING
2D Animation
The idea for the video had been in Ece's mind for a long time. It was only after producing the song Inner Feeling that she found the clarity to create something to accompany it. The animations were made by Stan Lievens, a friend and fellow KASK Conservatorium student. Together, they developed the concept further and refined the details. The result is more than just a music video, which is why it feels appropriate to present it in an exhibition setting, as shown in the samples below.
The Video
The song and video explore the search for "true love" in a world saturated with images, especially through social media, that don’t truly see or reflect the person looking at them. These images feel cold, with no story behind the eyes. I wanted to reflect on how many people seem to lack a deeper inner feeling to guide them. Instead, they chase desires driven by surface-level pleasure without thinking about the long-term effects. These desires might feel satisfying in the moment but often leave a sense of emptiness behind.
